Yes, money can buy happiness..., BUT...
Was thinking about this topic lately and think that there is some truth to the rhetorical question if indeed $$$ can buy happiness, BUT with caveats of course.

ST: Fraud: Hold external auditors accountable
Perhaps govt should hire more detectives (CAD)
to arrest corrupt board directors and their colluding auditors since
these 'paid' auditors have the tendency to do a slip shod job (high
leniency for errors= happier clients).

A '?Christian?' critique of YouTube 'Lemonade Stand Economics - Penalizing Productivity'

Thread Topic: Property in Singapore taxed less than food and water...why?
For the record, I do not support any polictical party.
I have explained that the Government ROBBED from tax-payers, enrich themselves first, then redistribute the leftover tax-dollars to the 'poor'. Similar to NKF's T. T. Durai.

The definition of FAITH.

Thread topic: Is religion a mental illness? I'm not sure if I necessarily agree that a man without faith is like a Ferrari without direction. Could you perhaps explain a little further? |

The 6th sense of Godly appreciation is certainly not a mental illness.

Re: Is religion a mental illness? I think , what TS meant when this thread was created is - "Is religion actually a mental barrier" that people find hard to break?" I guess the issue here is the choice of word used. It should be changed to "barrier" instead of "illness", since religion , IMO, is an issue that most people may struggle to overcome, for instance, "To convert or not? Should I become a Christian? " And in this case, it should not be termed as a form of illness. |
[Religion]: Discussion is good way forward.

The topic "Is religion a mental illness" is plain rude even if TS meant it figuratively. |

Discussion Thread: : Is religion a mental illness? Firstly, just a short disclaimer. I'm not trying to insult or degrade any specific racial or religious group or religion as a whole. Just as it's their rights to believe in and promote their chosen divine entitles or beliefs, I feel that it's my rights to be able to believe in my own opinions and to at least share my views. I'm Catholic btw, although I'm starting to doubt my own faith. |

And God allows the mentally ill to be happy too (if they could find the faith to believe that is).
Hi watisit, thanks for your lengthy reply although I mightn't answer everything here for brevity sake. U may however insists where need be. You have pre-empted intended edits to my previous post so I shall clarify here. For the avoidance of doubt, the definitions of 'religion' and 'mental-illness' are listed in my first post in this thread at [link] which the reader is well advised to peruse prior.

So the leaders of Singapore are 'Blind Men' too.

Topic:Anti-Christ message during opera performance at the Esplanade
Most likely it's just an oversight. It could be that it's standard routine for this opera group to display the poster at the end of every show but so happened that for this particular one, it had displayed the poster at the wrong time lor.
I would suggest that you write to the production team to highlight the matter lah.
