To: 'to B.C.' (Updated 02:41 PM August 01, 2011): "publishing the odds will not deter gamblers unfortunately"

To the unrepentant gambler, maybe too bad, but the majority will take heed, be notified and live better and more enlightened lives themselves.

We get so much brainwashing as to how 'First Class' our political leadership is: ST23Mar2006: 'Why Pay Must Go Up' [Pict link]

Please do not use hocus-pocus logic to tell me that despite crack-downs, drunken driving still occurs so we should stop cracking down on drunken driving and stint on hiring traffic police because such crack-downs 'do-not' work. I say RUBBISH!
We should crack down more and find more innovative methods to do so!

If indeed we have a first class political leadership, then why should our people remain so ignorant, stupid and gullible and give their savings away so easily: to Genting, MBS and the like; building large stadia and theaters that they themselves cannot afford to properly enjoy?

Perhaps Singaporeans enjoying being slaves of the PAP and are addicted to the lure of instant gratification.

Poor Singaporeans, the 'gods of money' [pict link] await them at the gates of hell.

Anyhow,
Me thinks that terrorism in SEA (SE Asia) would be much reduced if S Pools (owner of TOTO, 4D, S Sweep) could spend some $$$ collected on building schools in Indonesia etc as well as institutions of religious study and research/ education to clarify religious misconceptions prevalent within society and societies at large-
and thus much reduce the threat of terrorism in SE Asia.
Since the chief supply of fighters of these terrorist cells comes from jobless, poorly educated and disgruntled poverty-stricken youth; amongst whom religious misconceptions and lies are sown and spread to induce hatred so as to reap their manipulators some inhumanly immoral mortal gains.

Will our casinos become the sources of charity of our society, helping to redistribute the wealth accumulated by the rich, famous and studious towards worthy causes; or will our casinos merely become the ideal trophies of all terrorists current, future and wannabes.

Only time will tell.
The ball is still at the foot of the PAP.
