That's not even 1% of purchase value, not even 0.1% but 0.06% of the purchase price.
Assuming the TODAY news advert cost $7k to put up and P&G intended to donate about the same amount to charity as the cost of this advertisement, then P&G/NTUC would need to sell 7000/0.06*100 = $11,666,666 worth of products at least to be able to donate $7k to Special Olympics Singapore.
I thus think that this advert is just a scam to pretend that P&G and NTUC are kind corporations, I think that this is just a sales gimmick to deceive the lay populace that P&G and NTUC are caring corporations.
They are capitalist with no morals to their means of profit.
