Just the crude numbers...
Honestly, its an energy supply/ demand thing.
1g protein/ carbo = 4kcal, 1g fat = 9kcal.
Doing quite a lot of 'work': cycle/ jog etc uses approx 6kcal/min (360kcal/h).
1 Big Mac [Wiki-Mac]= 540kcal: enuff to power quite a long cycling trip (1.5hrs)...
(BTW your resting metab is I believe about 1kcal/min, so U will also grow slim just drinking water and just doin nothing...)
N if U are 'fat', each kilo of fat on you is also approx 9000kcal: enuff to cycle non-stop for 1500mins= 25hrs.
At 20kph, U can travel 500km (SG-KL) on that amount of pedal power...
(All figures apply for average Chi male (60-70kg))
Sorry, got carried away with the speed/ distance details.
But I also know that the brain takes up at least 20% of energy consumption IIRC.
So finally, my suggestion is to
1) Eat not based upon occasion/ desire but based on the real energy requirements based upon your work output; donate your spare lunch time pocket money to some good cause such as feeding and educating:

and
2) Think about how oneself can make this world a better place so that the following does no need to happen anymore:

Unless you are so grossly obese that it indeed does affect your immediate health,
I think the wider girth people shouldn't be ashamed cos wasn't it once said that
"no woman is desirable unless she cast a wide shadow"
Thank God for the abundance that you now enjoy though greed and selfishness has it due consequence.
Rgds and God bless,
